Manufacturing at Warwick International

The 'state-of-the-art' manufacturing facility at Warwick International produces the Mykon™ series of bleach activators based on TAED (tetra acetyl ethylene diamine).

TAED is the bleach activator of choice in many of the world’s leading detergent brands.

TAED enables clothes to be washed effectively and safely at lower temperatures, reducing energy usage and thereby minimising the environmental impact.  It is also widely used in dishwasher formulations..

In 2004, Warwick International purchased Equest in County Durham, UK - a specialised producer of performance test swatches used in the evaluation of fabric detergents.

Typical Use Includes:

  • Household detergents
  • Automatic dishwashing
    Bleach boosters
  • Laundry soak treatments
  • Industrial, instritutional and domestic biocides
